Before the flipbook

Create the PDF catalog first

CatalogZine starts from a PDF. If you do not have one yet, the fastest way to get it is Catalog Maker by EasyCatalog — it builds the catalog out of the Shopify products you already have, then hands you the PDF to upload here.

By aleksovApps — the same team as CatalogZine, on the App Store since 2020. Free tier to try it: one stored catalog, and a watermark on some pages. Paid plans from $9.99 a month lift both — see the listing for what each one includes.

Already have a PDF?

Then you do not need this page

A catalog you printed last season, a supplier's line sheet, something a designer sent you — upload it to CatalogZine as it is. You only need Catalog Maker if you do not have a PDF yet, or if you want one built from your products automatically.

How they fit together

One makes the catalog. This one makes it sell.

They overlap a little: Catalog Maker can show a catalog as a flipbook from its Basic plan. What CatalogZine adds is everything you put on the pages — Add to Cart tied to a specific variant, product hotspots, video, and a theme block and lightbox for your storefront — on any number of catalogs, free.

Step 1

Catalog Maker by EasyCatalog

Pick products or a whole collection and it lays out the pages — titles, images, prices, variants, metafields — then exports a PDF. Wholesale line sheets, price lists and order forms come out of the same place.

Step 2 — you are here

CatalogZine

Upload that PDF and it becomes a 3D flipbook at a link you can share or embed. Put Add to Cart buttons, product links, videos and hotspots straight onto the pages, so the catalog sells rather than just sits there.

What it makes

Everything below comes out of your existing Shopify data, so the catalog is right the first time instead of being retyped.

Catalogs from collections

Point it at a collection and it pulls the lot in. Basic caps a catalog at 100 products and Pro at 500; Free and Unlimited do not.

Variants and metafields

Every variant, with its own price and options, plus any metafield you want on the page.

Wholesale line sheets

Line sheets and wholesale order forms on the free tier. B2B pricing from Basic; price-list import on Unlimited.

QR codes and barcodes

On the page, so a printed catalog still leads back to the product it came from.

Edit in Canva

Open the generated catalog in Canva and restyle it without laying it out again. Basic and up.

Re-sync when things change

Rebuild a catalog from your products in one click, on Pro and above. A flipbook here is a static PDF, so a price change means re-syncing, re-exporting and uploading again.

Start with the catalog. Finish with the sale.

Catalog Maker builds the PDF. CatalogZine turns it into a flipbook customers buy from.
